PayID casino deposits: minimums, payment details and bank delays
What you enter in the bank app
A PayID is an identifier linked to a receiving bank account. It can be a mobile number, email address or another supported identifier. You enter the recipient's PayID in your bank's payment interface, which displays the name associated with it before the transfer is sent. Australian Payments Plus explains how PayID works.
To send money, use the identifier provided for that payment. Registering your own PayID is a different action: it lets other people send money to an identifier linked to your account. A deposit instruction asking you to pay a business PayID does not mean you should replace that identifier with your own phone number.
The recipient name is the first useful check. Compare the name displayed by the bank with the name in the payment instruction. If they differ, stop before confirming and ask the intended recipient about the discrepancy through its established contact channel. A familiar logo in a message is insufficient evidence that the accompanying bank details belong to that business.
There may also be a reference attached to the deposit request. Keep it exactly as provided. The reference can help the recipient allocate an incoming bank payment to the correct account. Saving the recipient without saving the reference can leave the next transfer missing information, so start from the current deposit instruction each time.
The minimum depends on the payment method
PayID deposits start at A$20 at five of the six casinos reviewed here. HashLucky requires A$25. All six accept instant PayID deposits without a transaction fee. The table gives the PayID amount specifically; some casinos have lower minimums for other methods.
| Casino | PayID minimum | Deposit processing | Transaction fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yonibet | A$20 | Instant | None |
| HashLucky | A$25 | Instant | None |
| SpellWin | A$20 | Instant | None |
| Hexabet | A$20 | Instant | None |
| Wettzo | A$20 | Instant | None |
| Richville | A$20 | Instant | None |
Hexabet accepts A$10 through Skrill or Paysafecard, but its welcome promotion needs A$20. HashLucky accepts A$20 by card, while both its PayID minimum and welcome-offer minimum are A$25. The lowest number in a cashier therefore may answer neither the PayID question nor the bonus-qualification question.
For example, an A$20 budget covers the PayID minimum at Yonibet but falls A$5 short at HashLucky. That is enough to rule out HashLucky's PayID option for that amount. It is unnecessary to work through the full welcome package before noticing the mismatch.
The fee column concerns the casino's transaction charge. A bank account can have its own charges, and a transfer involving another currency can introduce conversion costs. These casino amounts are in Australian dollars. Match the currency shown in the deposit instruction with the currency being sent before comparing the final credit.
Follow the transfer from request to receipt
Begin by selecting PayID in the deposit options and entering the amount. Keep that request open while completing the payment in your own banking service. The receiving identifier, name, amount and reference form one set of instructions; using parts from an earlier request can make a payment difficult to reconcile.
- Read the currency and minimum before creating the request.
- Copy the recipient identifier into the bank's PayID payment field.
- Compare the receiving name displayed by the bank with the instruction.
- Enter the requested amount and reference.
- Review the payment summary before sending.
- Save the bank receipt, including its transaction identifier and time.
- Return to the casino account and check whether the deposit has been credited.
For an A$40 request, the bank summary should show the intended recipient and A$40. After payment, compare the receipt with the credited amount. If the bank shows A$40 sent but the account shows A$20 received, preserve both records and ask about that specific difference. A general message saying the balance looks wrong gives support less to investigate.
Enter banking credentials only in the bank's own app or website. A message asking for a password, a one-time code or remote access is not part of confirming a recipient's PayID. Keep the receipt for troubleshooting, but redact unrelated balances and account details before sharing an image of it.
Why an instant deposit can be delayed
Instant processing describes the normal transfer path. A bank can hold a new payment for security checks, and a recipient can need time to allocate an incoming transfer. CommBank says first-time payments to a new PayID may be delayed for up to 24 hours. That is a bank-specific example, so use your own bank's status and instructions when a transfer is pending.
Start with the sending account. A pending transaction has a different status from one marked completed. If the bank is still holding it, the bank can explain that stage. If the bank shows it as completed but the casino has no credit, give casino support the transaction identifier, amount, time and reference so they can look for the incoming payment.
Do not send a duplicate while the first payment remains unresolved. Two pending A$40 transfers can both complete later, leaving A$80 deposited. A fresh payment also creates another transaction to trace without changing the status of the original one.
Missing or altered references deserve particular attention. The recipient may have received money without enough information to attach it to the right account. Keep the original instruction and the bank receipt together: comparing those two records can reveal the omitted reference immediately.
What to include in a missing-deposit enquiry
A short, complete enquiry is easier to investigate than several messages containing partial screenshots. State the amount and currency first, followed by the time sent, bank status, transaction identifier and requested reference. Add the deposit-request number if the casino provides one. Explain whether the money has left the bank and whether any amount has appeared in the casino balance.
An example message could read: “I requested an A$40 PayID deposit at 14:10. My bank marks it completed at 14:12. The transaction ID is [your ID] and the payment reference is [your reference]. The deposit is missing from my account.” Replace the bracketed details with the actual records and send them through the casino's established support channel.
Keep the response and any case number. If the payment is later credited, note the time and close the enquiry. If support says it cannot find the transfer, ask which detail is missing and take that question to the bank where appropriate. Repeatedly sending the same balance screenshot adds little once the transaction details are available.
For a wrong recipient or suspected scam, contact the bank immediately. Australian Payments Plus provides payment-safety guidance, including recipient confirmation. The bank's own transaction record is the reference point for whether money was sent; a receipt image supplied by an unknown person cannot establish that for you.
Check the withdrawal method before funding
A payment option can be available only for deposits. Richville's Apple Pay and Hexabet's Paysafecard entries work that way. Their PayID entries support withdrawals, so the cash-out method needs to be chosen separately when using those deposit-only options.
The withdrawal minimum, receiving details and account-verification process belong to the cash-out stage. A successful deposit establishes that funding reached the account; it does not complete those later steps. Keep your account details consistent and use an account you control when a receiving bank account is requested.
Deposit and withdrawal times also differ. Wettzo accepts instant PayID deposits but takes one to three hours for PayID withdrawals. Yonibet processes PayID withdrawals in under 15 minutes. The withdrawal comparison covers all six windows and the weekly caps that apply once a balance is ready to leave.
Finally, decide whether to accept a promotion before depositing. A cash bonus adds wagering, expiry and stake conditions to the transaction. HashLucky's 45× requirement and Hexabet's seven-day period are materially different commitments from simply adding money to an account. The bonus guide shows how to calculate them from the amount you intend to deposit.
